Does your course provide certification of "electrical therapy education"?
Our Shockwave Training course is 3-full days and provides graduates with certification and continued education credits with NHPC, CCMOTA, MTAA, etc.
Do I have to have a machine to take the course?
No machine is needed for Level I, however you will be trained and able to start on patient care immediately following the completion of the course, should you have access to a machine.
For Level 2 - Machine access and hands on patient experience is required.

How Much are the Machines?
For Radial shock wave machines there are a variety on the market with different power strengths, however most therapists take the middle of the road approach which are between $12,000 - $16,000 CDN (Storz Medical Devices).
Focal Shockwave Machines can range in price upwards of $60,000 CDN
Is the cost of a machine really practical for a massage therapist?
Yes! We review the costs/benefits in course to show how you can make this investment in your future.
When do I need to do Level 2?
While you can practice with Level I training, we recommend completing Level II within 6-8 months to ensure meeting your patients needs for Rehabilitative Therapy.
